LimeFlight's redesign journey was a two-year collaborative partnership, marked by iterative and incremental improvements. It all began with a comprehensive UX audit and heuristic evaluation, uncovering significant improvement ideas to enhance the platform's usability. The founders of LimeFlight appreciated our professional approach and robust design decisions, leading to an immediate start of the redesign process.
Throughout the collaboration, we worked with LimeFlight in sprints of two weeks each. For every sprint, they defined a specific UI/UX related goal, ensuring a shared understanding and allowing for progress measurement. LimeFlight provided user stories for the modules, and we responded with the delivery of wireframes, UI design, prototypes, and a design system. The project involved several rounds of usability testing to fine-tune and validate design decisions.

LimeFlight is used by airlines around the world to solve their inflight logistics challenges. The software solution is developed in close collaboration with airlines to ensure efficient and effective management of their inflight logistics operations.
Before teaming up with us, LimeFlight had their beta version rolling, equipped with a simple design and two modules. After successfully bringing on their first international client, They had ongoing design needs.
Why did LimeFlight need our help, and why did they reach out?
Limeflight wanted to incrementally grow their product and simultaneously give it a refreshed look. They needed a design agency offering the full range of design expertise - from conceptual (user experience) to visual (user interface). They wanted a modular and reusable design approach, along with modern UI standards and design patterns.
Our designers initiated the process with a series of product walk-through calls to gain domain knowledge, understand pain points, and address various UX challenges. Communication primarily occurred through voice/video calls, while Slack was utilized for chat-based interactions.
Commencing with a heuristic evaluation of the existing app, our designers identified several significant improvement ideas, aiming to deliver quick wins.
We built multiple user flow diagrams based on different modules such as Load Planning, Meal Planning, Inventory Management, and Platform at the beginning of every cycle of designing a module.
LimeFlight provided us with user stories featuring relevant data. Given the iterative nature, managing a data-rich app and numerous moving parts, we developed sketches and wireframes to structure data for initiating meaningful conversations.
We meticulously crafted UI design and components, following brand colors and establishing a cohesive visual hierarchy to create an engaging interface.
We developed a clickable prototype to give founders and developers a direct experience of the anticipated flow.
we structured our design system, emphasizing the standardization of widgets and components in Figma library. This ensured a cohesive and scalable foundation, enabling seamless collaboration and consistent design implementation throughout the evolving design process
