Glasshat
The Challenge for us
Glasshat was having trouble with the existing version of their app. They wanted us to come on-board and re-design the interface. Following are the problems they wanted us to overcome:
- 1Existing users were unable to understand the value of the platform and they failed to perform basic actions.
- 2The average conversion rate from visitors to trial users was less than 2% and the conversion to subscribers was 0%.
- 3The look and feel of the app was outdated. This was turning away users.

Although the client had provided us with user flows and wireframes based on their KANO model analysis; we analyzed them thoroughly and revamped the UX strategy.

Design
We began by analyzing the flaws in existing user flow and wireframes. Before doing any design work, we corrected these flaws. Since we had to follow a metronic grid system and had some existing wireframes to work with, we directly jumped into UI Design and came up with the first screen – the Project Dashboard. Once the Project Dashboard was approved, we proceeded with the rest of the designs, approaching the client for approvals at every step

Designing a feature-rich dashboard (and other screens) with UI design patterns for navigating complex datasets, which was to be viewed on tablets and mobile phones, was a challenge in terms of layout. Here’s what we came up with:

Mobile

We designed the following layout for mobile users:

The app is revamped with a new look and feel. It is live right now and ready for the existing users to enjoy.
